whats the best way to get your own back on someone who corernerd you with all of his mates, boxed ya in the face and left ya with 2 metal plates for life

Try visine clear eye drops and stick it in his drink while he is not noticing. This will make him have the uncontrollable shits. An old guy told me this one once and I couldn't help but pass it on. One or two drops may due, but any more other then that is not recommended because it could be poisonous or something.

however, if he's really a threat, the best way to deal with him is to try and get him in jail. has he hurt others before? talk to a lawyer or police

Pray for them. If you pray and give it (all your cares and worries) to the Creator (God), then it will be in the Creators hands. Then pray for them and and ask that they not be allowed to hurt you, themself or anyone else. This does not preclude sueing them. However, forgive but do not forget. The Creator you will find, will act accordingly in the Creators time, not OURS.
