I am currently using a computer at the public library closest to my home which has one of the best networks I have ever used in my twenty-six years of working in the data processing industry.

well, theres libraries and internet cafes, and then theres other places for free too, like some community resource centers and government resource centers. Depends where you live. I am in Canada, in Alberta we have computers with internet available for use right from the social services offices, they have resource center setup there. Good luck, let us know what you find:D
