My Dad gave up his career to be with the one he loved [my mother] and so he can make a family [that is why i am here] but he didnt go "poor" but the job he had was going to make him A LOT OF $$$ and now he is middle class.

Well my career is a volunteer one anyway, so I'm kind of already poor! Surprisingly, I'm still happy ;-)......now I just need to FIND the one I love, lol!

Good question!
I would actually say yes. Maybe it's my hopelessly romantic self, but I would do just about anything for my wife. I mean, I don't know if I would move to Guatemala to live in abject poverty of anything. But I would probably take a big pay cut.
