The word pronounced "grill" makes me think of barbecue. The word when pronounced "greel" makes me think of ghetto ebonics.

No not at all as I'm not of that mentality thankfully! When I hear the word grill, I think of a big juicy steak and some baked potatoes cooked on the grill.

No, I think of steak and grilled shrimp..

But if I hear a ghetto person say grill then thats a whole new ballfield, lol.

Nooo...don't know why it would. It makes me think of a backyard BBQ with steaks, burgers and chicken cooking on the grill. Yum.

Yea but because thats what music has made it be. They associate it with ghetto peope and people in the ghetto. basically drug dealin playas! I know its a stereotype but thats what they made it be.
