I used to do that but now I have a pair of clip-ons. Much better.

Cheers :-)

Yes, absolutely you can do this. It's easier to have an attachment on your lenses (not the clip on thing that is sold in drugstores). Go to your optometrist and get fitted out with ones that fit your frames. This was WAY CHEAPER than buying a pair of prescription eyeglasses, especially now that I wear bifocals. Don't buy off the Internet until you've done some research. My Mom was told by her eye doctor that some of the sunglasses don't protect your eyes enough and can lead to cataracts (this was news to me).

If you wear sunglasses for very long periods (as you would long-distance driving or boating), consider getting prescription sunglasses in inexpensive frames. No matter how good the add ons are, there is still some distortion.

Yes, you can, however it might look silly. You can also get prescription sunglasses, clip on sunglasses that clip onto your prescription lenses, and you can also get "pairs" that are cute. It's what I wear. I got a pair of prescription glasses, that had magnets made right into the frames, then they had a set of sunglasses that had coresponding magnets so that you could just snap the sunglasses over your lenses. They look cute, and they weren't too expensive. The neat thing is, too, that you don't mess up your prescription glasses with clips, and they fit together perfectly! I got them at Sam's Club, but you can probably get them at Walmart Opticals, and perhaps regular optometrists.

I guess the worst is that you would risk scratching the lenses of your prescription glasses.

I am not sure but it also might hinder your vision slightly as it creates quite a bit of depth from the start of the glass frames to your actual face.

I probably wouldn't do it just because it is so expensive to replace your real glasses should the sunglasses scratch them

Sometimes you have to keep going back over and over until they get them right. The clerk isn't a eye specialist, but she's right; the way they are bent or the way they sit on your face doesn't matter. The problem is in the lens itself. If Davis Vision doesn't correct this problem and make them perfect for you, then get your money back and find a glasses place that will. Do not settle for glasses that make your vision blurry.

You can buy "clip on" sunglasses for your prescription glasses.

Yes you can, but a better solution may be to get a prescription pair of sunglasses.

You can even get ones that are photchromatic and will get lighter when your inside and darker when you go outside.

According to my eye doctor, unless they are from an optomitrist, even if they are not prescription, you should not do that. The lenses aren't truly clear and they will affect your vision.
