Her husband is great. She loves him to death, but made an agreement with him long ago. She told her husband that when she gets angry, he can punish her. He would never physically hurt her... so instead when she yells at him, he picks her up, strips her naked and ties her hands up over her head and her legs to the bed while she is sobbing and crying and screaming COMPLETELY EXPOSED. He also opens the shades/windows and turns on the lights and calls her "slut." She almost convulses she gets so mad and has a hard time breathing. He doesn't let her get up and dressed until she has calmed down. He says bondage and nudity will cause her to submit! Well he did it the other day while I was over and I wanted to help but she kept telling me not to... so I had to watch her endure this. She was so humiliated and hasn't called me since. What should I do about her, but more importantly about her situation. She is such a weak person!

I would have run out of there as quickly as I possibly could and called the police. She is probably not going to call you because now you know the dirty little secret on how he demeans her. Pray for you friend and if this ever happens again you should report it and if she decides to talk with you again you should talk to her about getting help to report it. NO one should be forced to endure this type of behavior and he is a weak man for treating her this way. She should leave him and if she is convulsing he may mistakenly kill her one day this is very dangerous, she really needs help. Do you know anyone in her family if so you should let them know what going on, do not let him get away with this, if she gets mad oh well, you could be saving her life.

There's nothing you can do,short of calling the cops, and that will be very embarrassing for both of them. Though this would stop the behavior, it will also create other problems. She agreed to it, and she should break the agreement with him about doing this. And she can also learn a little about anger management. Call her, see if she'll discuss it with you, and find out if she really wants this or not. If she doesn't want this, then encourage her to take measures to stop this.

She's letting him humiliate her like that?? What is wrong with her??? That's wrong, what a controling JERK!!! What he needs is to get his butt kicked big time and to learn how to treat his wife with LOVE & RESPECT!!! Because what he's doing is degrading and disrespecting her and not showing her love. A truely loving husband would NEVER treat his wife like that.
