No you're not a bad mum. they're having a break from you doing what they want and you're doing the exact same thing.

next week it will be back to normality so enjoy your week of peace and freedom

Oh your a brilliant mom if you ask me, for a start off your allowing them to go to camp after saving hard to let them go and you deserve a nice week of total peace and quite going down the pub and doing the things you never get the chance to if you ask me, have a ball and enjoy yourself the next camp will be months away.

You Brits and your pubs...

ALL parents look forward to a week without kids. I don't know about spending it at the pub, but I enjoy no-kiddie time.

A bad Mum? Not at all! you deserve to relax and regroup. Your children are off for a lovely week and so should you be or when they return you will be just as harried and tired as before they left.
Cheers!

Sounds okay to me - you're a Mum but you're also an individual who needs a bit of time and space to herself. Hope you and the kids all have a good time!
