I bought the nail polish and those little sticker stencil things for french manicures. Does anyone have any advice on how to do this? I have doubts that I will be able to do this...

they are actually not as hard as they look. I'm a klutz, and I still manage to do a decent job.
My only advice is to take your time. Make sure the white is completely dry before you apply anything else on it, and do not do anything with your nails until the white strip dries (do not open cans of soda,do not mess with the remote, do not type or make phone calls). It only takes couple minutes, so it's not hard to wait it out.

there are many ways and different tips..heres one that i like:"For a full-out French manicure, file and buff your nails, and massage cuticle oil into each nail. Then, take normal white nail polish (I recommend NYC), and make a thin stripe across the top of your nail. In a shallow dish, pour some nail polish remover and dip in a square-shaped paintbrush. Use the brush to wipe away excess polish until the white stripe becomes an even arc. Wait a few minutes for the polish to dry. Then, apply clear or sheer pink nail polish over the whole nail."

It does take awhile. I do the tips on one hand first, then let them dry completely. Then do the other hand - it's so easy to scratch/chip the white if you don't let it dry. It doesn't matter if you get white on your fingertips - you can clean it off with a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover. Sweep over the nail tip with an arc - don't go too slowly or it tends to get uneven. When the nail is completely dry then do a coat with your sheer pink (or whatever you're using). Same again - let one hand dry, then do the second one. Two coats works well. I have unsteady hands but with a bit of practise it works out OK now. I've never had luck with the sticky nail guide thingies - just messed up when I took them off. You'll get there. It's easy to fek it up totally - but it gets easier with time!

It's pretty simple if you paint the white part first and let it dry completely before peeling off the sticker then go over it with clear or pale pink polish.

its really easy! you just put the tip on and then paint the white. make sure and let the white dry for a little while so that it doesnt come off when you take the tip off! also, make sure that the tips are in the corners of your fingers all the way so that its a straight line across. i'm sure you 'll do fine, and i suggest starting with whatever hand you're most comfortable with! good luck!
