I have an 8th grade dance coming up soon and it is kind of formal, so girls are obliged to wear dresses. In 7th grade I had a bad experience at my friends party because everyone kept stepping on my maryjanes. I want to have fun at the dance, not worrying about people on my shoes.So what kind of shoes do I wear that I can wear with a dress and still be cute. P.S.(I can't wear highheels cuz it is only an 8th grade dance. )

They make some really cool flats. If you can't wear low heels you have to do some serious shopping!

im in 8th grade too. the best way to go is get dress shoes. mostly they are black with toes covered but they do have alittle heel. its not highand its comfortable and they are cute. try payless for dress shoes and since its formal like im having a Bon Voyage dance and im wearing dress shoes with a little bit of heel. dont go flat cuz some1 will step on you so a teeny bit off the ground with the toes covered is the best
ur toes could be covered but the rest just have a strap so ur feet arent totally covered

Hey the Mary janes sound good or ballerina shoes for comfort no matter what shoe you wear your feet are still gonna get stepped on so no open toes. a very low wedge heel shoe is nice.

Try to find a dressy pair of thongs with a low heel like an inch

You could wear shorter heels, they're really not so bad. But if you dont feel comfortable in them, then look for a dressy kind of sandle to wear

that might be okay if it was casual, but since it's semi-formal, i'd say a nice pair of flats. probably not heels because those are formal, but flats are just the right kind of shoes for that.

no offense but if ur in 8th grade and can't wear high heels then u must be living in a bubble. i'm in 8th grade in a very, very conservative town and if someone in my grade didn't wear heels everyone would laugh at them. does everyone else not wear high heel or just you???????

I wore high heels at my 8th grade dance and graduation.
so, who is to tell you no, except your parents.
If they say ok...then go with it.. So many different styles etc.
yes. I was the only one at the dance...got lots of compliments.At graduation, several other girls wore high heels.

Wear gold flats. With a black dress. Or silver flats with a black dress.
