The washing machine is SO hard on bras, the best thing to do is hand wash them. I do it when I'm in the shower. Also the dryer in hard on them as well. since I have been hand washing my bra's none of the underwires have come out.

I know what you mean, and it so uncomfortable.I think when you wash bras with underwires you are not suppose to put them in a dryer, thats what ruins the wire thing.so just let them air dry.

I don't know!! I hate when that happens!! It don't happen because its cheap b/c I bought very high bra from Victoria's Secret and the wire came out!!! I think b/c after you wash the bra alot the fabric gets looser and the wire just comes out!!

the wire is so sharp it pokes a hole in the bra fabric, when it keeps poking the wire eventually comes out! I hate that

wear and tear. but mostly due to how you wash and dry them. the dryer is probably the worst culprit. do not put them i the dryer. wash them in one of those net bags and then hang dry them. i was all of mine in cold. and have very few instances of this happening.

also, lower quality cheaper bras are more suscepitble to this.

The wire is stronger than the fabric, and, it's an evil plot to poke you at just the wrong time.

Kitty said it best. You have yourself a product of good old fashioned wear and tear.

because the ends are not swen shut, so you can take the wire out when you wash it, and the wire wont rust
