Here is a very good article that explains 64 bit systems and goes into a fair amount of detail on the 64 bit vs 32 bit argument.

Also this one gives additionally information and a list of what CPU's support 64 bit. 64 bit is not currently limited to Itanium chips contrary to what someone stated.

64 bit suppose to b faster but u need 64 bit software n hardware including all the driver has to b matched.at this moment , Idon't know any software is a 64 bit software except vista.vista can run as 32 bit as well.

You need a 64-bit processor like Intel Itanium.

These days you have dual core proccessors and 64 bit processors.


vista 64bit and more suited to them. Note, 64bit vista on 32 bit processor (which most proccessors ppl have are) will not work well.
