okay.. there is a formula... okay.. you first make the log 0.0001 equal x. and you know that the regular base of logs are 10 right? So you do 10^x=0.0001 okay?? all i did was put 10, the base, on the base.. and the variable to the right of the equal sign as the exponent and put 0.0001 on the right side of the equation.. there is this formula.. log base of b (x)=y which equals to b^y=x right? So you just do the same hting. and you will get -4 as the answer becuase 10^ -4 gives you 0.0001. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at mashi_cutie@hotmaill.com

By definitiion, the log of a number to a given base is the power to which the base must be raised in order to give the number.
In this case:-
number is 0 . 0001
Consider base 10
Power = (- 4)
10^(-4) = 0.0001
Thus log (0.0001) = - 4 ( known as "bar 4")

I dont be attentive to how u get 3364, yet something e^ln (x) = x so one thousand e^ln{(2/4)*7} = one thousand * {(2/4)*7} = 3500 I dont be attentive to if u have placed the brackets in a incorrect place. Is it 2 divided by 28 or, 2/4 and then situations 7 ?

negative 4
How to do it:
.0001 = 1*10^-4
10 to the X is (expression within log)
log(expression within log) = X
log(10^-4) = X
10^x = 10^-4
x = -4

easy: just count the zeros. if the number has a point, then the answer must be negative, if the number is bigger than one, the answer is positive.
hope that helped!!
