I have to write a story, and I need to think of first and last names for four characters.
i need 2 names (first and last) for two 17 year old girls
a name for a 17 year old boy
and a teachers name
these names can't be too common..they need to be realistic yet creative. I'm just not good at think of any...

Write down a list of surnames of people you know (or don't know), then write a list of first names.
Then look at the first names to see if any could be used as surnames, and then do the opposite with the surnames.
make sure you don't just swap a surname and first name around (i.e Fred Sobchak, Sobchak Freds).
You could even change the spellings or cut names up and rejoin them (i.e; Fred Phillips, John Sobchak - Fred Philchak).
