The best day of your life?

it was the best and the worst day of my life. well, now where should I start, oh, of course, the beginning.
my soulmate and I were doing our usual work. when we were done, we met and talked a little. when we were about to go home we were attacked by some god damned psycho. she shoved me back and tried to protect me. I attacked that bastard like a wild animal, using my teeth and nails as weapons. I wasn't hurt too bad, but my soulmate, however, was mortally injured. I looked like it even hurt her to breath. I had no time to wait, I carried her into my car and placed her gingerly in the passenger seat. then I drove to the hospital as fast as I could, reassuring her as best as I could as I drove. when we got there, there were some police following us and I told them she was hurt while I ran her inside.
I waited and waited in the waiting room, fearing the worst. miraculously, she was saved, and that's when we both realized our deep affection for each other. I thanked God so much when I found out she was OK.

Overall, when I take into consideration everything that happened on the best days of my life, I still have to say that the best day of my life was July 31, 1997. It was one of the most perfect days with some of the coolest people I've had the privilege to know; we went to the beach and had a truly grand time. With that said, the day I met my best friend comes in at a close second, ONLY second because meeting him was the only good thing that happened that day. I'm hoping to top both of those in the future ;)
