4(x-2)^2=192

divide both sides by 4
(x-2)^2 = 48

take a square root of both sides
x-2 = + or - sqrt(48)

add 2 for both sides
x = + or - sqrt(48) + 2

x = + or - 4 sqrt 3 + 2
