I would appreciate someone's help in selling a variety of second hand (almost new) books. I have tried and did not like ebay and amazon. Are there any other reliable ones?? Books are based in UK but shipping to Europe or USA is fine.
Very grateful for any recommendations!

There is a website called Books for Soldiers. The troops in Iraq are very very interested in getting books sent to them. You can go on their website and find soldiers (American or UK) who are seeking books in certain genres. Send them some! Not only will you be doing something nice, you will be making a great friend. If you take them to a second hand bookstore you can either trade or sell them. A lot of these stores give you a credit for all books, which is good for your purchases thereafter. The library is the next best thing.

Good luck!

If you don't end up selling them, there is an incredible site dedicated to the concept that books change people and people change the world. You can give them away in public places and they track them etc. Good cause.

Try Half Priced Books. That may not be their brand in UK, but they to have a similar operation there.

Half.com is very reliable. It is an offshoot of Ebay, but it is set up entirely different. I've had a lot of people who hated Ebay absolutely love Half.com
