It seems to me that the above people might not get the joke.

Presumably the answer you are looking for is "log cabin."

Although, technically, the most correct answer is "log of absolute value of cabin, plus C":

ln |cabin| + C.

(The antiderivative "log cabin" is one particular antiderivative which is valid for positive values of cabin.)
