I've had a few regrets in life.

Some years back, I developed a new
soda pop that I mis-named 6 Up.

I turned down an offer to be a Beatle
in 1963 because I didn't think they were
going anywhere.

And then there was my first real invention,
the Submarine. And that would have been
a real gravy train, but I couldn't get it to sink.

I think the Japs finally torpedoed it.

Sorry to say that I have no regrets.

Not one.

As I walk along the "road of life," my backpack has no room for things as pointless as regrets.

I have none. Regret is to punish the self for the past that didn't materialize. It is the lack of acceptance of what exists for what *could* have existed.

Or, coulda, shoulda, woulda.
