My family had plans to go out today. But I got mad at my dad, and now i am refusing to go. We canceled the plans. So, am I being a brat? Should I go? Because I have a major right to be mad. Serious answers please.

You can stand your ground if you think you are right, but you don't have to be mad. Parents see things a little differently than their children do. They mean well. So you could Apologize for acting out if you did, but you should try to make things right. Family is really important. They will be there for you when literally no one else will. My friends dropped me like I was hot when I went overseas for a year, my family is what got me through.

Well if you spoiled the whole families plans then they might have a right to be mad at you. I guess I would have gone and just stayed away from my dad.

Everyone gets mad. But is it worth having your whole day and probably your whole weekend ruined. It sounds like you should go and talk to your Dad and try and get it worked out. Do yourself a favor and really listen to what he is saying. I am not saying you are wrong because I don't know what the fight was about. Hope it all works out for you.

They should have went out without you instead of emotionally blackmailing you. You have a right to be upset. 'Brat' is a term used for children when they wont do what you want. As an adult you have the right to be mad and upset.

don't spoil everyone else's plans cause you are mad at your dad. go just don't be around him. talk with him about it later. I hope it's not to serious and you can work it out.

was it really worth upsetting these plans for the rest of the family?
you need to talk to your dad about this,and share your opinions and troubles that you have with one another.
