No aspect of our mental life is more important to the quality and meaning of our existence than emotions. They are what make life worth living, or sometimes ending. So it is not surprising that most of the great classical philosophers--Plato, Aristotle, Spinoza, Descartes, Hobbes, Hume--had recognizable theories of emotion, conceived as responses to certain sorts of events of concern to a subject, triggering bodily changes and typically motivating characteristic behavior. What is surprising is that in much of the twentieth-century philosophers of mind and psychologists tended to neglect them--perhaps because the sheer variety of phenomena covered by the word "emotion" and its closest neighbors tends to discourage tidy theory.

Emotions are the positive and negative energies that flow through and around us. They can control you if you don't know how to control them.
Two of the greatest emotions are LOVE & FORGIVNESS ! You can't have one with out the other.Emotions are not something that are, it's something we feel if we're open to it . Emotions can totally lift you so high or crash you so low. Emotions are who you are ! ! !

They aren't real most of the times. Real one sometimes make us cry or suffer or happy but whatever affect they have on us in the end it turns out that we like it to feel all that stuff. The greatest emotions make us alive.

Show me your emotions. Where do you keep them? What part of your body holds your emotions. If we look at an xray, where would we find them?
Emotions are a theoretical construct.

They always come in pairs. You can't feel something without another emotion coming into conflict with what you are feeling.

I know that I have them. I have experienced the whole gamut. A person without emotion is a robot or dead.
