I've heard this comment a lot, even from exs. I really don't think there is any specific way a lesbian looks. Why do people say that about me and what could I do differently to stop giving this impression?

well, it might not be ur appearance but maybe your personality. like u said i dont think lesbians have a specific look. also i can see ur not too much of a girly girl.. and u like to hang with the guys, maybe thats why people assume what they do. but like they say .. dnt judge a book by its cover

I don't think you look like a lesbian. They were either saying that to be assholes, or else they might have said it because you don't wear a lot of makeup, which is perfectly FINE!
Maybe they're just sexist, and they're steriotyping because you're not a priss who spents hours on your hair and outfit. People can be so lame.
In reality, how can someone LOOK like they like to have sex with women? haha don't listen to them.

your clothes are too baggy and it dosen't look like you take much care of yourself, kind of like a boy......try dressing up more girly and stuff and more put together and try to grow your hair out. well, i'm just judging from appearance, but is your personality a little boyish too? like burping loud, or maybe u have bad posture, or maybe a deep voice? idk, could be a ton of things, but just try to be more girly. well, good luck nd hope i helped!!!
