I washed it before, but it's left spots, and they distract me and reflect the sunlight a bit, making the windshield very dirty looking when hit with direct sunlight. It's a '96 Pontiac Grand Prix SE two-door by the way if that helps for whatever reason. Any answers are appreciated! Thanks!

Windex or glass cleaner.

windex works like a charm....or get a sos pad, the once that seem like little wads of wire with soap mixed in, it wont scratch the glass plus the soap from the pad helps clear the mess, then try ther windex it should be ok, i had the same issue when i removed my tint,was a mess but this worked like a charm!

You are not getting all of the dirt off of it. You're just spreading it around. Use windex and newspaper to get it clean. Or just simple vinegar and water. If you use paper towels they have some kind of film on them and they will streak. The newspaper will help a whole lot. good luck
