Are u kidding or r u downright serious? In any case, please remember that half of the ICC's coffers are filled by the cricket played in the subcontinent. Just because India lost in a World Cup match(under strange circumstances), India will not lose the test series to Bangladesh in the summer. ICC will have to mind its coffers before taking an action that u contemplate ICC will take, in such an eventuality.

This will never happen!!!
India is the ICC's milking cow!!
They generate more money from India than they do other ICC memebr countries!!
I think India should play a leading role in world cricket.THEY, AND NOT AUSTRALIA, SHOULD BE THE MOST POWERFUL FORCE IN WORLD CRICKET!
The problem is that India do not have a level of cricket JUST below test cricket, like Australia does. If India can ,once their domestic league is over, have a regional tournament of 3-4 teams (North,South,West and East India) play four day and one day cricket on a round robin basis. If you don't play in this tournament, you can't get selected. A tournament like this would have a strength versus strength basis to it, like first class cricket in Australia. This would get rid of the prima donnas in the Indian team and create healthy competition for places in the Indian team. The team would basically select itself!!!
The world needs India to be a force, for cricket's sake!!!!

Ha Ha Ha ! ICC can never remove India from any form of cricket . The kind of revenue they get from the Indian tours doesnt match with any other country.
Unless the Indian public stops goin to watch cricket matches , no one can say a word to the indian cricket board. I would say they are the DADAs/Godfathers of the ICC. If jaggu dada was here , he would have reigned the ICC for many years to come. Unfortunately he got caught stealin monie n cannot even contest for the Kolkata board now! :(

No i do not think so.India has a long test playing record and a loss in one series to a nation which has recently been making giant strides in cricket definitely does not call for any such disqualification. If what you think would be true then England which has lost so many series since losing in1971 to India deserved disqualification long ago.I think you are just being too pessimistic.

Test status and ODI status are not given to a country based on one or two good performance but taking into consideration the performance of a team for some time. Similarly the test and ODI status cannot be withdran based on the poor performance of a team in one or two tournaments.
