The water needs to be between 70 and 80 degreese farenheit and the basking area needs to be between 85 and 95 degreese F with a signifcant differance in the two so your turtle can cool off in the water and warm up on the basking area. The water at night should never reach below 60 degreese F. If you need to create a little heat, a heater will do the trick or an Exo-Terra Night Glo light that creates natural moonlight and heat. The heater does between 10 and 20 degreese increases and the light does about 5. Be sure that you implent both UVA and UVB rays in your tank for your turtle though (this is a good way to both produce heat and the vital rays).

Basking about 90F (daytime).

Night can drop to the upper 60's or so.

Anywhere in the 70's should be good for at night.
