They say they're always blue but it's hard to tell. my baby's were definitely a very dark blue, almost black, but now they're green. My friends daughters eyes were dark green when she was born tho and now they're blue!

Blue! For some reason all babies are born with blue eyes they change colour at around 8-10 weeks thats what colour they will stay.

A newly born child typically have blue eyes which later changes into other colors like blue, brown, hazel, gray, etc. It depends on the color of the eyes their parents have. It is the genes that determines the color of the eye the baby will later have. For example, if the baby's mother and father have blue eyes, the baby will,in most cases, also have blue eyes (unless if he/she develops some type of disorder). So its really the genes, which the baby receives from its parents, that determines the color of the eyes he or she will have after they are born.

Most babies are born with blue eyes that may change to green, hazel or brown within a few weeks. Some babies are born already with brown eyes like my nephews. It also depends on the family lines and what mix of colour is in those lines. Like my husband and I both have blue eyes and so do our parents so we are going to have all 100% blue eyed children.

Usually blue but it is possible for them to have brown/black eyes (rare though) and by the time the baby is about eight weeks old they should have the eye colour that they will keep.

both of my boys were born with dark brown eyes like my husband and myself. So the blue eyes when babies are born are not true in my case.

all baby's are born with blue eye's ,they change in 2 or 3 days

south asians tend to have brown eyes (unless of course someone in their family has different colour eyes themselves) - no blue eyes, green eyes for the first few weeks - brown right from the beginning.
