Every once on a while there are TV or radio shows about weird and/or gross jobs. There are companies which specialize in cleaning up crime scenes, as well as homes where someone died but was not found for weeks. Garbage man was one of the most tame. There are companies which clean septic systems. Someone has to clean and unblock city sewers. I think the grossest one I remember was mushroom farmer. The farm used urea as a fertilizer.

I worked on a charter boat putting bait on the fish hooks for the tourists. I started out on probation as an apprentice baiter, but after 30 days I moved up to become a master baiter.

Being a Retail manager. One of the most thankless, over rated, under paid positions ever. Abuse from your bosses, abuse from the buyers, and abuse from the customers.
Especially the customers, who buy stuff and return it after they used it and were done with it and then would follow you around the store and curse you out in front of the whole store when you didnt return their underarm soiled, smelly brides maid dress. I wouldnt recommend it to no one.

I have done insulating under houses in the crawl spaces. It involved crawling under the houses laying down heavy black plastic then then putting insulation between rafters then hanging more insulation over the walls. It always surprises people when I tell them what I did.

Oh, God! I'll never forget it . I answered one of those too good to be true ads when I was young and too timid to tell them no way. I spent hrs that night as a solicitor for cemetery plots. Never went back or got my pay and was glad to be away from there.
