Everywhere on the internet people are saying Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance is gay, when he clearly is not. How many closeted gay guys would talk about stalking Christina Ricci and liking Brodie Dalle? If he was he would keep quiet about the whole thing and nobody would ever see him with a girl.
Remember those guys from NSync and Westlife, they were the quiet ones who never really got into the whole girl thing and stayed in the background, nobody saw them with girls etc. People just need to accept that it is wishful thinking on the rumour-mongers part and not believe everything they read. You would eventually know they were gay anyway, how many years are people going to wait for Tom Cruise to come out, he has a track record for going out with women, If he was he would have been found out by now but he was not so why don't people just accept it when they say they are straight, you don't see the gossipers running to claim the ugly guys!

Yeah its obviously not true about Wentworth Miller either, just a really good looking sensitive looking guy all the 'real' men are jealous of. As soon as my sister mentions him to any male friends they get all defensive and start calling him gay and ugly, he probably brings out the gay in them really!

Its gonna be spread by men who don't accept this type of man is sexy. They want women to fancy fat middle aged lazy men instead.

It's mostly because people are bored with their own lives and want to make up something to talk about for a while. Also, it's not that common for men to be interested in the performing arts, and when they are, sometimes it turns out that they are gay, so.......

What an excellent question and you are quite right! It seems to be some sick sort of fascination to determine the sexual preferences of starts these days, who gives a bloody damn if they are good and we like their acting, leave them alone if they want us to know they will tell us. Quit hounding them like dogs with a chop tied round their necks!
