Not a comfortable situation. Try to be as relaxed and pleasant as possible, especially if the children are there. They don't need to be exposed to hostility between their parents. Think of it as being one time less you'll need to deal with him. If he tries to take anything that you haven't agreed on, call and try to get a police officer out there or take a picture so that you've got proof for later on.
After it's all done and he's gone, sit down with some soothing music and relax, or go do something fun with the kids or your friends. Hope it goes well. Good luck.

If it's court ordered, just stand back.
If he is doing it to be nasty and you feel you have right to some of these items call the police and have a court date set up to determine what goes where.
Otherwise just keep the peace, and not being sure of the whole situation it's hard to be too detailed. Sorry it did not work out.

Yes but its probably too late. You should have had a deputy sheriff there to prevent any unforeseen problems like he tries to take something that isnt his. Hopefully all turns out well and watch him carefully andbe prepared to notify police if trouble starts

if he is entitled to the things then I say let him have them so you can move on. If he is there causing trouble and acting irrational then I say call the police and they will watch him get his things and leave.

I see you decided to let him come over after all. Be cool and don't let him hang around too long.

been there! If he is not currently residing there he cannot legally take anything (rather it is his or not) without both of you agreeing. Otherwise, it takes a court order.
Good luck!

If they are his things, stand aside and let him do it. If anything belongs to you, call the police.

sit back, let him get his stuff and then shut the door after him. Are you looking forward to him getting his stuff out? If so, just sit back and let him do it so he can do it quick.
