whats up with my water dragon... he is about three months old and i never see him in the water. sure evrey morning he takes a drink . but i never see him take a nice long soak like most other dragons...whats up with him?

As long as he's a nice bright green color, I wouldn't worry about it. He knows what he needs and will do what's right for him. Maybe you're giving him adequate humidity and he's not about to shed, so there's no need for him to soak.

If he's a darker green-brown, he's stressed and may have issues with his environment. Maybe the tank is too cold for him (and the water would chill him even more) or the water quality isn't to his liking. In this case, you'll need to evaluate what doesn't meet his standards and correct it.

they soak when they are hot and need to cool down or when they are about to shed... make sure your water is clean and actually scrub out the bowl at least once a week to prevent bacteria from developing in the bowl.

my water dragons only bathed when they were sure no one was looking. As they got older they didnt care, and sometimes they would take turns bathing like birds and blowing bubbles
