yes you can but coke uses different chemicals in their soda......

I believe you can, but pepsi is much less effective. In other words, the reaction, or explosion, would be bigger if you used a diet coke instead of pepsi. there is a certain chemical or more of that certain chemical, in diet coke, that increases the reaction.

According to Myth Busters any diet soda will work for this trick but sugar soda and plain soda will not. Good Luck!

yes u can use pepsi instead. i know this from experience (science expirement).
