I didn't breastfeed my second and third babies. I had no trouble getting the weight off because I was careful how much weight I put on and I kept physically active after their births.
After my first baby, I had trouble getting the weight off even though I tried to breastfeed. I simply had a lot more weight to take off.
If you don't enjoy breastfeeding, then don't do it. Don't let anyone guilt you into doing it. You will end up resenting your baby. When I went from breastfeeding to formula with my first child, I enjoyed it so much more. Feeding time became precious rather than a chore.

Of course it will help you lose weight after pregnancy. You will burn more calories while producing milk for your baby.
Breastfeeding is a great gift that you can give your baby. I would stop thinking about how you don't "enjoy" it very much and think about the benefits for your child. Isn't that the point of being a good parent--doing what is best for the health and well being of your child? Focus on the positive benefits for both you and baby. And the bonus of not having to fix or wash bottles. You'll also save a ton of money on formula.

You burn about 500 calories a day when you are breastfeeding, so yes it helps you lose the weight faster. What's even better about it is the fact that it's the healthiest thing you can give your baby, and gives them many immunities that are not found in formula. I was back down to a size 2 by 4 months after I had my daughter, and I breastfed her for 12 months.

it does help you lose weight b/c it takes 400-600 calories a day. if you start jogging or aerobics after 6 wks you will start losing weight faily easily. Breastmilk is so much healthier for you baby and it's great you did it with your other children even though you didn't really enjoy it.
congrats!
