It was "Comfortably Numb". My friend a long time ago told me they fall asleep to it everynight, so I asked to borrow it. It was delicate sound of thunder. I did the same, and used the CD to relax/fall asleep to, and fell in love with then. Then I started using, er, lets just say some mind altering drugs. I was truely in love w/ the band. It was like "THEY KNEW". Little did I know they DID KNOW!!!!

One of these days. Great tune and that album is so hard to find now. I got it at the library and it was great to hear some of those songs. Its different than animals or dark side of the moon. More of the earlier stuff that was more hypish but the beginnings of the acid/hard rock stuff. Some of it has some accoustic guitar songs and they are great. By the way, the album is called "meddle." Give it a listen.

I was 5 years old when I heard "Time" from "The Dark side Of The Moon": this song is rich in variations and contains a lot of tunes on a single song: new age, heavy rock, ballad (the clocks and the background music, the guitar solo and voices and the reprice stuff in that order).

I first heard Good Bye Blue Sky (have no idea why they're more popular ones didn't come first...) and I just loved the way Roger and Dave's voices were in perfect harmony so I started to listen to other Floyds.

For me, "Goodbye Blue Sky". I heard it when I was 6 or something, and being a kid, it was the little kid's voice at the start saying "Look mummy, There's an airplane up in the sky" that got me. I went around singing the song over and over for a couple of weeks. My parents and their friends got a kick out of it. They bought me "The Wall" for my birthday.

I grew up with them so it's hard for me to remember. Yep, I was raised by hippies. I was fortunate and saw them live several times in the '70's, '80's and '90's.

"Money". I was expecting the Barrett Strong version, but the intro told me not. Howver, I decided to hang around for the full song
