Ask your local branch manager or customer services manager if he or she will reverse the charges. This is usually the best bet, especially if you are a long-term customer.

If you feel that the charges were wrongfully applied, file a complaint with the state or federal authorities who regulate banking in your jurisdiction.

Write directly to your bank with statements included showing the charges.Watchdog have featured this issue on there program on BBC1 and you can get template letters on there web site to help you.

follow this link. It gives you step by step instructions, theres even a letter you can edit to send to your bank. And it works! my friend did it and got all refunded;
