*** why don't people like funerals? yeah why not? ***

Some folk have a tendency to like the funerals of their enemies. People don't like funerals generally because we realize usually without admitting it, that the below is truth.

The Bible Ecclesiastes 9 : 4 - 6
Anyone who is among the living has hope
even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!
For the living know that they will die,
but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward,
and even the memory of them is forgotten.
Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long
since vanished; never again will they have a part
in anything that happens under the sun.

Have a pleasant day.

Everyone re acts differently to the passing of a Friend or loved one. I don't think that anyone generally "likes" a funeral. Usually the funeral home operators treats them with a somber respect. Of course at funerals you can have the opportunity to re acquaint yourself with family or friends you haven't seen for awhile. That can be a positive. It would be a mistake to think that funerals are some thing to look forward to.

First of all, it's a sad time for many people and others don't know what to say. Second of all, if you've ever lost someone other funerals tend to dredge up those past feeling of grief. Then thirdly, there are people like me, who tend to empathize with the families' loss and actually feel their grief. Thus, funerals can be very draining and unless you care enough for those left behind as to be their support, funerals are not where you'd want to be.
**What really strikes me is, why do we wait till people die to visit them? I have known so many elderly people, who do nothing but wait for their friends and relatives to visit. many of those waited right up till the hour of their death, dreaming of a chance to see their loved one.....sure enough after they died...the relatives or friends showed up. So..if your reading this and there is someone who really loves you, please make contact, before it's too late. You be glad you did.***

I love funerals you get to play in the dirt and after you have something to drink and eat. And if your lucky someone will leave you something nice in their will. And its the best place to pick up vunerable chicks that need a shoulder to cry on

Because they are sad....and people generally don't like to feel sad. I think they are necessary, though, so you can say goodbye one last time.
