The couch is more comfortable than the computer chair. And the screen is much bigger. Multi player is much easier...

Because everyone uses consoles and plays them! We are a video game country... not a computer game country. Overall, most people have trouble using a keyboard and/or a mouse to play a game. Without the controller in their hands, they feel lost at first. This causes many people to give up on computer games and to fall back to their console games.
That, combined with the fact that console games are getting better and better... tells me that they're not going away any time soon!

Well their is good and bad to both. I like playing first person shooters on PC better but all other games on console. With PC you need the right requirements to play a game and each year it seems to upgrade so if you are just passing the requirements PC games lagg a lot. Where as Console it is a steady play with no upgrading until 10 years go by and another console comes out.

It depends on the game. There are certain games that translate better to a console and certain ones that translate better on a PC however I think it's more of a personal preference. Like I can't see myself playing a game like Grand Theft Auto on a PC over Playstation 2. The same goes with RPGs such as Final Fantasy and fighting games.

Some people don't have computers that are powerful enough, other people don't want to take the time to learn how to setup their computer to be able to play games on it. A console is easier to plug in & begin playing. The main reason is likely ease of use.

Computer games tend to be more... uncomfortable. I like sitting on the couch or kicking it back while using my wireless controller to kind of move the character around the TV. That's a good question; It's kind of interesting. I like it also, because console games tend to be more explorative and don't affect whatever you do on your computer, since no installation is required and memory cards can be plugged in and out.

The only console games I like are the old Intellivision games. That's why I bought an Intellivision games CD pack from the Blue Sky Rangers.

Some games are a lot better on console than on pc. Like the GTA games, I can't get into them on the PC but love them on console. But games like The Sims 2, I can't play on a console, only pc. It depends on the game, and what I first played it on, I guess.

To be honest, I don't. I'd much rather play everything on my PC, and the only reason I have my Xbox is for games exclusive to it. The exception is things that can't really be strictly called consoles - like the Wii.
