Don't ask other people! Then you are displaying that you're not! Just don't try to be "cool" and people will think you MIGHT POSSIBLY be.

I go to High School and here's the thing with cool/popular kids. If you have to say you're popular for people to know you're popular, than you're not popular. But if people think you are popular in general, than you are.
In your case no, you're not.
