On the set of "Any Given Sunday", while practicing moves/blocking for a football scene, Jamie got a bit excited (i.e. cocky) and began imitating L.L.
He continued doing this for the afternoon, and after one shot, L.L. did what is commonly referred to as a "b*tch-slap". Ralph Bellamy and others separated Jamie, and nothing else happened during shooting.
Since then, Jamie has continued to mock L.L. (imitating him by continuously licking his lips, etc.)

Note: Jamie, Ralph, Dennis Quaid, Lawrence Taylor all enjoyed the company of female extras on the set -- L.L. stood out by keeping to himself, and keeping it in his pants -- this was seen as the reason (among the crew) for Jamie's contempt.
