How to identify seashells?

I have about 300 seashells in my collection. I have identified many of them from books I have bought. But there are several that I cannot identify. Is there any kind of online help for identifying such things?

and choose "identification help". You can post pictures of shells and related objects, and get the help of a number of knowledgeable people.

look at your local library for books to identify them.
