I personally love Mark's brand (it's an Avon division, more trendy) like the Frame of Mind Tote in white but I also have some Avon's purses. The one I favour is a denim and brown leatherette shoulder bag.

A purse is one thing I will shell a few bucks out on, but with good reasoning behind it. I buy Fossil purses; they are not the cheapest (but not crazy-expensive, either), but I have found they are very well made. I've found they last quite awhile. As a bonus, they are also very sleek.

Mine is a Nordstrom brand large, leather, black bag. It is a rectangular shape with straps that go over my shoulder.
It is very simple in design but gets compliments.
