Some pregnancy tests can give you a positive result up to 4 days before you missed period. However, I've had many friends who took several pregnancy tests and had some come back negetive before finally getting a positive.

I kinda agree w/ Magix151, he/she is my best guess, unconsciously or maybe even consciously you may want to be pregnant, so it's probably something mental, although you may not think so, your mind is a powerful thing, its potential is beyond belief. You yourself said that your period's irregular anyways so you can be late just because of your desire for it or because it's irregular already. I also think that if you really want to know, and really think you are, go to the doctor. It's the best and only way to know. 5wks is a long time for a pregnancy test to still not be able to detect it with the technology today, but it has been known to be wrong. Think about it more..... go to the doctor's.

Most tests are accurate at first day of your missed period, some can tell sooner. If they keep coming back negative and you think your pregnant, go see your doctor and get a pregnancy test ran. The blood test are more accurate than the urine tests. Good Luck

With the right test you could know within a few days. Go see a doctor if you want to find out for sure. You could have it in you head that you want to be pregnant and your body is obliging you. The only way to be sure is to see a doctor.
