Anyone who wants to debate this must go http://www.reasons-for-war-with-iraq.info/ to and read -Iraq and a History of Terrorism
-Connections between Iraq and Al-Qaeda
-Iraq and Weapons of Mass Destruction
-Life in Iraq under Saddam
Also, notice in the news article, it's not Sunnis and Shiites fighting each other, it's insurgent groups fighting with AL QAIDA because of what many Sunni's have realized. Also, Al Qaida has always been fighting for dominance in Iraq, read the link I just provided.

If you think my link is wierd, notice how the Liberals are the ones saying how "SUNNIS AND SHI'ITES HATE US AND WOULD NEVER LIKE US THERE, WE CAN'T WIN, WE MUST LEAVE NOW!!1111" That's their only debate on leaving. And now that has finally faltered. Face it, if we stay in there, we can fix the country just like we fixed Japan when we occupied it, even though it had started that they were fascist enough to blow themselves up to kill Americans (hmm, just like Muslim terrorists?)

Anyone who questions my logic, I'd feel free to debate them on the war in iraq issue over AIM: DontPanic6x9
YIM: DontPanic6x9
MSN: god_is_also@hotmail.com
I'm an ex-liberal who just converted to conservatism when congress decided to hold our troops hostage (denying them funds, ie. starving them) in order to make the petty political statement not everyone agrees with that we should all pull out of Iraq now.

So the fact that violence in Iraq has recently branched out in yet another direction indicates that opponents of Bush's war are wrong?

Al-Qaeda wasn't in Iraq until we invaded that country.

Sounds like you're saying that it was wise to invade so that we could lure Al-Qaeda into Iraq, so they cold kill tens of thousands of people and the locals would get pissed off and deal with them on their own.

What does that say about our military? We can't beat them ourselves, but we're glad a bunch of desert tribal guys are finally mad enough to start fighting back against the horror that we the US of A brought down on their country?

That's ridiculous. As soon as the Sunni tribes chase AQ off, they'll be coming after our guys for bringing them there in the first place.

Futher evidence thaqt 20% of the country stilol believes Bush retoric and look to justify the war. That is due to the fact that 20% of the country is, well, low I.Q.

This Iraq matter has degraded into a civil war. We need to go home, elect a President with a higher I.Q. in 2008 and figure out the best ways to secure our nation and our freedom. Hint - the answer is not using the military in ineffective and counter productive ways. Here is a fact - we spent hundereds of billions of dollars for little effect in Iraq and you or I can still easily walk into a chemical plant with a little planning and cause great harm and death to large numbers of americans. Security under Bush - give us all a break.

Don't you rant about Jews too?

You should be nice to all people and they're ideologies. Who ever said that you should spread your hate everywhere like the plague. I am a Christian and maybe a litlle bit conservative but I know the Lord helps those who help themselves.

You are anti-Muslim and anti-Israel and you blame everything on Democrats? This is a very hateful rant. I certinaly wouldn't let my daughters talk like this.

Interesting. Liberals are responsible for the hatred between Shias and Sunnis? You have a very weird sense of logic, and not all liberals have the same opinion, although I do see your point. Too bad it took so long for the Iraqis to "wake up" though.

Please... your premise and post are beyond silly.

"Sunnis have started to see the light..." - so you're saying that the Sunnis (whichever political/religious sect you mean) are suddenly going to change their behavior and move towards more constructive resolution with the "shiites"?

Closer to home... define "liberals" and please connect you're first statement regarding the Sunnis and the liberals - and their ability to stand as it were...

ROFL

While I'm at it:

"SUNNIS AND SHI'ITES HATE US AND WOULD NEVER LIKE US THERE"

So you're implying which of the two groups loves us, and has begged us to stay?

Thanx for the laughs

It's amazing how people like you link to stories like this and somehow interpret it as a blow to liberals.

If you had been paying attention to the news for months now, you'd know that the war has long become a sectarian civil war of Sunni's killing Shiia and vice versa rather than a united attack on the U.S. soldiers.

BTW that's still not a good thing. That's still not victory or "Mission Accomplished" and it still means this whole mess is one gigantic failure for Bush and his Neo-Con allies with no foreseeable end.

Anyone who thought about it for 10 seconds would realize that someone (on the left or the right) opposed to the war would see this as a good sign.

We've been saying that they'll work it out themselves. This affirms the liberal position that the solution will come from Iraqis despite U.S. occupation. We win.

Let say two, we should have never gone there and we should leave. Looks like they can take care of their problems according to that link.
