You either have a very strong filter for your tank or very weak fish from either being sick, young or they have long fins which make it hard for the to swim. On all my tanks I have filters rated for at least twice the size of the tank and have no problems with fish getting stuck. If you can, lower the flow rate of the filter. If you can't I have heard of people using panty hose or foam (like used to make cartridges) and putting them over the intake to slow the flow.

Have sushi for dinner? Or get a less powerful filter or more powerful fish.

Remove the filter. Change their water manually when needed. Or strategically use some suction cups and a white panty hose (perhaps the knee high variety) and make a barrier.
