I'm considering getting a vascectomy, but am concerned with any negative impacts to my sex life. Anything I should be aware of before I get cut? Thanks

It shouldn't since there is no change to the hormone levels. All it does it disrupt the delivery system, so to speak. :)

It should not change anythingas long as you do not have a psychological problem arise from the surgery. Having a vasectomy is nothing you go in and about 30 minutes later your done. I think the worst part is the freezing agent down below it hurts abiut but other then that all you have to be worried about is some swelling my sex drive is still super high
after mine.

My husband's sex drive went up. Now that he didn't have to worry about me getting pregnant. The only thing I can think of that you should be aware of is that the soreness after the procedure is different for everyone. Some go back to work the next day, some (like my husband) needed a week sitting on ice to recover.

A vascetomy does NOT affect your sex life it improves it! You can relax and enjoy, not worry about birth control have all the sex you desire! (A Man's dream!) My married friend had a vascetomy and said it was a piece of cake, if he would have known it was so easy, he would of had it done years ago! The fact that you have all the sex you like is the best incentive! GO FOR IT!!! BEST WISHES AND ENJOY!LIFE IS TOO TOO SHORT NOT TO!

There is no effect whatsoever...ive had one for over 16 yrs....the only thing they disconnect is the plumbing from the testicles to your weener. They do not cut the plumbing that supplies your body with testosterone.
P.S. your love klife gets better since your partner doesnt have to be concerned with pregnancy

Just for the few days after it. After that, no change at all whatsoever!
Get it done on a Friday so you have the weekend to heal. Couldn't believe the amount of bruising he had!

Don't worry about it. You will feel more at ease when you are having sex since you won't have to worry about impregnating the person you are with. Have fun and *** like a rabbit!!!

What I have heard is it does not effect your sex life at all in fact it makes it better knowing you cannot get your wife or your significant other pregnant.

My husband's drive decreased after his vasectomy but the problem is in his head and not his plumbing. There is no physical reason it should affect you if it is done right.
