Try reading Sybil. It's old, but extremely interesting. It's about a young woman with extreme multi-personality disorder. Also, Lisa Bright and Dark. It's very much like Go Ask Alice, except it's about mental illness instead of drugs.

Speak- Laurie Halse Anderson

Impulse- same author as crank
Such a pretty girl- Idk the author, but its got a pic of a dried rose on the front

Lovely Bones- ALice Sebold

Lucky- ALice Sebold

All of these books are actually about rape, except for Impulse. I like the same books as you, and I've read these, and I hihgly reccomend them! Good luck, and feel free to e-mail me if you read any other good books!

Let me get this straight, you won't read books in a library (where the're free and can be taken home) but you prefer to read books at a bookstore (where the store pays for them and can't sell them if they're dog-eared.)
Doesn't this strike you as being somewhat dishonest?
