I'd say Americans are the biggest problem (lol - I'm just kidding). The US is the best. What problems we have, I believe may have more to do with politics putting politics first before the needs of the people they represent. And, yet our system is still better than 90% of countries out there. I think if we took a more active role in telling our politicians what they should do rather than the other way around we would be better off than the really well off we already are. (that make sense?)

The biggest problem is failure to find an honest politician. The majority are bought and paid for and they in turn create the major problems we face. This is still the greatest country to live in, but we need politians with the same morality that they had 200 years ago.

America has changed ALOT since 2000. We've lost rights, respect, and have engaged in a war we have no business being in. We're not taking care of our own. If you are wealthy, health care isn't an issue. If you're poor, you're screwed. You can go to the emergency room and be treated but if you need to go to a specialist, you're out of luck.
Things will be getting better soon. Hopefully, a change of administration will bring this country some of the respect it has lost under mr. bush.

As is evident from public shootings, disarming the law abiding populace has caused big problems. Even in the states with the most freedom, you have to pay for and jump through hurtles in order to excersize your right to defend yourself with a concealed weapon.
Too many laws in general.
No personal accountability and too much policitical correctness.

The problem with America is simply this we make many wrongs acceptable. If its common practice rather we know that its wrong and do nothing to change it becomes acceptable.

1) Racism and intolerance.
2) This war and this President responsible for the disruptions in the lives of our soldiers in the armed forces and National Guard and Reserves and the death of so many of our troops and other innocent people.
3) The willingness to throw out our devotion to the First Amendment, both on matters of speech and of religion.
4) Greed. We've been acting as if it's the 1890s recently and this sort of thing hurts capitalism rather than aids it.
5) Our willingness to ignore treaties and take and treat prisoners contrary to international law that we were instrumental in fashioning. See Eisenhower's farewell speech and see how low the nation has now sunk.
6) That Republican presidents and congresses have had the opportunity to appoint so many of our federal judges, especially our current Supreme Court.

The biggest problem with America is that people refuse to take responsibility for their own actions. Too many Americans feel they are entitled to handouts. . Also, many always want to place blame on others rather than look to themselves for the reason for their problems.
I blame liberalism.
