While the workers may be casual, you may likely meeting with upper management and or HR. For and interview, dress professionally. NO denim, or visible tattoos. Try a nice blouse, conservative skirt and jacket, skin tone hose and low heeled pumps. NO "boots". Conservative Attire = Responsible Individual (as a first impression). A nice pair of slacks could be substituted for the skirt but you can't go wrong with a skirt. Keep jewelry to a minimum. Do wear a watch and bring some sort of briefcase or binder and a pen and a pencil (in case the pen doesn't work!). Do some research on the company before hand; know the key players and their competitors in the industry. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Leave the house WAY early! You never can tell what may delay you on the way. If you get in the area too early, stop at a near by coffee shop and chill for a bit. NEVER EVER, EVER be LATE for an interview!
Most importantly, stay relaxed, stay focused and have fun!
Good luck!
You never get a second chance to make a first impression...

I think khaki would be better than demin. While they wear jeans on the job, you want to be dressed a little more professionally for the interview. Go with the dress pants - it'll show that you're really serious about getting the job. Good luck in the interview!

Ever hear of the saying "Don't dress for the job you have, dress for the job you want"? Wear your sunday best, it shows the interviewer you are serious about the job even if after you get it you can wear your Star Wars T-shirt, jeans and converse ;-)

It is always better to appear more professional rather than less.
I would avoid the denim. The dress slacks, with a nice pullover or button down blouse would be fine with a casual, but not denim, jacket over it. Boots, so long as they are not an extreme style would be fine. If they are other than a classic style of boot, I would opt for plain flat ballerina or loafer style shoes.

Make sure you know their corporate culture. If they are very laid back, be sure to also dress casual. Take for example Google, if you go to a Google interview with a suit and tie, they will laugh at you. Whereas, if you go to an IBM interview WITHOUT a suit and tie, they will probably not take you seriously.
So make sure you do some research about the company atmosphere.
Good luck!

If you have seen every dress casual then you dress one step above. You want them to remember you and not seem like another Apple. if your clothes will get you the edge then so be it. Wear a nice suit. I hear Purple is a power color
