That would be just a small part, an indication, of what is wrong with the whole flippin world these days. We have six year olds who look like they're 20; we have girls too young to know where babies come from, even, having babies. And we have people who think their wants and needs trumps the greater good to the extent that it's ok to shoot people who happen to get in their way.

I know. People from generation and generation love the Stereotypical, racial, raw slapstick cartoons from the WWII era (Loney Tunes and Merrie Melodies and even I'm African-American). Those though have been dubbed so much in recent years that it's pitiful. At least they started making Tom and Jerry cartoons again, but they're not the same still. Yes, I also miss Popeye cartoons. Stereotypical, racial, slapstick and moral all at once. Folks argue once Mel Blanc died in '89, true Cartoons died with him.

The problem with most cartoons today is that

1. They're unoriginal and not frequnet enough in new cartoons.
2. Don't have set schedules.
3. Have too much potty humor and not enough racial and stereotypical humor.

Now kids in the 80s and 90s (like Me) and folks from the Hanna-Barbara era had it good with Saturday mornings. Now a days, we have crap on screwed up schedules.

EXACTLY. Tv is garbage these days there are barely any decent shows for children to watch much less Adults. I dont know whats going on. In my day there was Pete and Pete , The Wonder Years, Are you Afraid of the Dark, and yes Looney Tunes cartoons. These days childrens shows are weird or just plain devilment.

You are absolutely right!! i keep the Boomerang channel on my satellite just so my daughters can see what REAL cartoons are. Not that Avatar and Pokemon garbage. Buggs, Daffy, Smurfs, Snorks, Scooby-Doo, etc, are the best things out there!

you are right a/b that. i like all of the classics especially the 70's,80's saturday line up. check out the cw and or fox kids. they show the ninja turtles and a new version of batman called the batman and my hubby watches them every week. but you're right there is a lot of shows making wicca, satinism, mediums, pychics, and the the worship of many gods seem like it's a cool thing to do. it's one thing for adults to watch this b/c we can distiquish right from wrong and know it's just enternatainment, but our kids take this stuff way to serious. it shouldnt be allowed on tv or parents need to pay attention to the shows their kids are watching to see if it interferes w/your beliefs.

I agree with you 100%!!!

Nothing compares to the cartoons back in the day. For me, Transformers, GI JOE, and Voltron took the cake. Today's action cartoons just look so cheezy, so colorful, so poor in quality. Even when they remake my favorites like GI JOE and Transformers, they ruin it by trying it out in 3D style or distasteful coloring. The only cartoon that has even come close to enjoyable for me has been Justice League.

the in straightforward words challenge i will imagine of is the actual undeniable actuality that cartoons now suck. once you're gazing the older cartoons from lets say the 80's and early ninety's then it truly is an fairly good element. stay youthful.

I agree. The cartoons lack movement, imagination and fun. You aren't allowed to hit with huge mallets anymore and Anvils are so outdated. I miss the good ol' chase and catch (well, near misses, anyway!) They used to be colorful, engaging, hilarious and even tinged with a bit of adult humor so that they spoke to our Mom's and Dad's sense of humor without compromising our tender ears. Everything is PC that it makes me sick. When it isn't, it's downright vulgar and not worth watching.
