I remember watching this movie about 5 years ago, and it seems like a movie that would appear on the woman's network.
It starts off with a girl going to school on a bus, and the bus stalls on the train track, and the train gets hit.
The girl has to get her legs amputated, and goes through therapy...and start over her love life.
Any ideas?
I really enjoyed the movie, but I can't remember the title.
Any answer would be great.

The movie was "Long Journey Back" (1978), starring Stephanie Zimbalist. It's based on true story of a high school girl left paralyzed when her school bus stalls on a set of railroad
tracks and is hit by an oncoming train.

Are you sure it wasn't the bus that got hit? I mean, if the bus was stalled on the tracks that means it wasn't moving so I would imagine the train came along and smashed into the bus. You say the train was hit though.... Was it hit by an airplane or something? lol j/k

try www.imdb.com or the lifetime movie channel. yeah it does sound like a chick flick. it would help if you knew who played the girl though. then we could narrow it down. i hope i helped. i think i saw this as well.
