Nationalism is a strong belief in national identity -- believing that your country is the best, and is right no matter what.

Separatism is a form of nationalism in which you believe the part of the nation you are from is better than the nation as a whole and should split off and become another country.
The French seperatist movement in Quebec is a good example -- they are seeking to split from Canada.

well nationalism is something that an invading nation would believe. they believe they are the best and every one else should be like them.

Separatism are for people who either seek independence from a nationalist nation or a nation who just want to be left alone and would rather only make it self better rather than take care of other people.

as for me i am a beliver in Separatism, i think nationalism is rather unstable because you cant change people, good for people who like expantion, i prefer stability, only it can help us move faster into the future.
