Yes, it is :) Go visit Lisbon.. the south, the north, Madeira! All of it!

The best things to do..? Depends on the city. You can go to the big cities to shop, then go to the beach, scubadiving in the Algarve and soak up the sun there too :)

Amount of money to take for a week? In Euros.. I'd say it depends on how much you want to do and if it's just for extra spending money. If I were you I'd be careful with money you have but take a lot!

You can visit Spain too while you're there.. San Sebastian... Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona..

Portugal is a beautiful country. I really like Lisbon. The best places to visit are the Convento de Mafra (a huge monastary), the Museu do Traje (beautiful garden) and...of course, you should see a soccer game in the great Benfica stadium.

hundreds of thousands of people bypass to Portugal each and each 12 months and hundreds of thousands stay there so it would be nicely worth a bypass to!! a) there are distinctive great sandy seashores on the south coast (on the med) for swimming and sunbathing and a few amazingly rugged bays on the East coast (Atlantic) solid for surfing. attempt wine tasting, golf, horse driving, diving, fishing. Drink port.

YES!

I'm Portuguese and I love it, you just need to choose your destination and don't let travel agents sell you what gives them money.
Natural landscapes, quiet beaches and countrysides.

Spain is nice (so I hear) but why does everyone have Spain in their mind? It's annoying.
